Gauri Khan has been interested in fashion design for a long time. She started by redecorating her own home and other projects. People started noticing about her design and she decided to take fashion designing as her hobby.

She is also an Indian film producer who produced Hindi films including Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om and Chennai Express under the Red Chillies Entertainment, co-founder with her husband Shah Rukh Khan.
